On May 21, 2025, the Professional Progress Programme - Day 4, commenced at 10:15 am with a welcome speech by Ms. Supriya Krishnan ,Vice Principal of Progressive English School. This was followed by a presidential address by Mr. Suhail Fareed, Principal of Progressive English School, who emphasized the importance of "learn, unlearn, and relearn."
The day's proceedings featured a comprehensive session on "Classroom Management and Creating a Happy Space for Learners," led by Ms. Rasika Bharathan, Retired Principal , Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Kannur, and RP of COE, Thiruvananthapuram. She underscored the significance of self-care, self-reflection, and integrating art into lesson planning. She also highlighted the pivotal role teachers play in creating a nurturing classroom environment and shared expert insights on effective classroom management strategies tailored to cater to the diverse needs of students. The session concluded at 3:30 pm, with a total of 70 participants benefiting from the engaging and informative discussions.
The programme concluded with feedback by Ms. Ajitha.P , Head, Primary Section, and a vote of thanks by Ms. Smitha K., Faculty , English dept.
