As part of the Reading Week celebrations, the Foundational Stage at Progressive English School hosted a heartwarming initiative—"Stories Beyond the Page"—on 20 and 21 June 2025, inviting parents as storytellers to share the magic of stories with young learners.
Ms. Fathima Ashraf, mother of Zainab Masood (Fly 3C), engaged children with her simple and expressive narration. Ms. Ameera Muhammed Anees, mother of Aman Muhammed Anees (Grade 1E), delighted Grade 1 students with her animated storytelling, sparking laughter and joy. Meanwhile, Ms. Saida Haris, mother of Hadiya Zainab (Grade 2E), captivated Grade 2 children with her expressive delivery.
The sessions were filled with wonder and excitement as students listened with wide-eyed curiosity, responding with giggles and eager questions. The presence of parents added a special touch to the classrooms, making the storytelling moments truly magical and memorable.
