Progressive English School celebrated Lunar Day on July 20 with a range of exciting and imaginative activities that sparked scientific curiosity and creativity among students. The day featured diverse programs including “Wear an Astronaut Costume” for Classes IV and V, “Lunar Snack Time” for Classes I to V, and a poster-making competition on the theme One Moon, One Vision, One Future for Classes VI to X. Students of Classes III to V showcased their artistic flair through a cartoon-making activity titled My Moon Day Out, while those from Classes I to XI participated in rocket model making, presenting both still and working models. An inspiring documentary show by the Science Teacher engaged Classes I to X and XI, and students from Classes VI to VIII penned imaginative autobiographies titled A Peace Mission to the Moon. The event offered an enjoyable and educational experience, blending science, art, and storytelling to celebrate humanity’s fascination with the moon.
