As part of the National Food Day on 16th October and in connection with the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty observed on 17 October 2025, Progressive English School organized a Food Collection and Sharing Drive under the banner of Malarvadi Club and Teen India.
Students and staff actively participated by collecting pulses, grains, fruits, and vegetables to support the needy. The collected items were donated to Minar Charitable trust, Mottambram, reflecting the school’s commitment to fostering empathy, social awareness, and the value of sharing among students.
The program served as a reminder of the importance of reducing food waste, promoting generosity, and contributing to the well-being of society through simple yet meaningful actions.
