Malayala Manorama and Federal Bank collaboratively organized “Kaliyum Karyavum” at Progressive English School on 11 November 2025. It was a unique program aimed at raising awareness about screen addiction, promoting financial literacy, and nurturing students’ connection to their cultural roots through traditional dance forms.
The event began with an informative orientation session on screen addiction, which helped students understand the impact of excessive screen time on their health and academics. The session also provided practical tips for maintaining a balanced and healthy digital lifestyle.
Following this, Federal Bank representatives conducted a seminar on the importance of saving and opening a bank account, guiding students through the process and highlighting the benefits of secure savings, easy transactions, and responsible money management.
The initiative successfully blended digital well-being, financial responsibility, and cultural appreciation, making learning both engaging and meaningful for all participants
