The Progressive Media Club was officially launched on 12th November 2025. The event began with the Voice of the Divine by the school choir, creating a soulful atmosphere.
The Opening Note was delivered by Muhammed Fawaz, XII Science, School Leader, who extended a warm welcome to the gathering.
The Chair’s Talk by Mr. Suhail Fareed, Principal, highlighted the importance of developing media awareness and communication skills among students.
The Official Launch and Proclamation of the Progressive Media Club was carried out by Mr. Hamzah Abbas, Chairman of WGI and Chief Editor of Gulf Madhyamam. In his address, he spoke about the growing influence of media and the need for responsible and ethical journalism.
Mr. Mohammed Sajid P.K, Director,Progressive English School, addressed the audience with inspiring words in his Director’s Voice, appreciating the initiative and encouraging students to use the platform to enhance their creativity and confidence.
The Spotlight Moment, presented by Muhammed Musthafa, IX B, featured a lively stand-up comedy performance that entertained the audience and added a cheerful touch to the event.
The programme concluded with Words of Gratitude by Mr. Zaheen, Media Club Incharge, who expressed heartfelt thanks to all dignitaries, teachers, and students for their support in making the launch a memorable success.
