In connection with Children’s Day celebrations on 14 November 2025, students of Class VIII D from Wadihuda Progressive English School visited Karunyanikethan, Vilayankod, a school supporting children with hearing impairments.
The visit aimed to promote compassion, social awareness, and inclusiveness among students by providing them with an opportunity to interact with differently-abled children. During the visit, the students engaged in interactive activities, learned about sign language, and understood the day-to-day learning experiences of the students at Karunyanikethan.
Teachers accompanying the team highlighted the importance of empathy and respect for diversity, noting that such exposure helps in shaping responsible and sensitive citizens.
The event marked a meaningful celebration of Children’s Day, encouraging students to appreciate values of kindness and community service.
