Progressive English School marked the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women on 25 November 2025 with meaningful literary competitions aimed at raising awareness and fostering empathy among students. Organised by the English Department, the event featured an Essay Writing Competition for Grades IX and X and a Poem Writing Competition for Grades XI and XII.
The initiative encouraged students to reflect on social issues, express their perspectives creatively, and stand in solidarity against violence and discrimination faced by women around the world. The school’s efforts underscore its commitment to nurturing socially responsible and sensitive young individuals.
