The Wadihuda Institute of Research & Advanced Studies (WIRAS) inaugurated the Kannur University National Service Scheme’s ‘Focus Plus’ Leadership Training Camp for NSS volunteers on December 5, 2025. The three-day camp, scheduled for December 5, 6, and 7, aims to develop leadership qualities, confidence, and a sense of social responsibility among volunteers.
The programme was officially inaugurated by T. V. Rajesh, Vice President of the Kerala Bank and former MLA of Kalliasseri, who highlighted the importance of youth leadership in nation-building. The event brings together NSS volunteers for sessions on personality development, team building, and community service.
Organized under the banner of Kannur University NSS, the camp reinforces the institution’s commitment to fostering proactive and responsible young citizens.
WIRAS, accredited with a B++ grade by NAAC, continues to play a key role in supporting university-level educational and developmental initiatives.
