Kannur University’s National Service Scheme (NSS) is set to conduct a three-day Leadership Training Camp titled Focus Plus on December 5, 6, and 7, 2025, at the Wadi Huda Institute of Research & Advanced Studies (WIRAS), Pilathara. The camp aims to enhance leadership qualities among NSS volunteers through focused sessions on confidence building, service orientation, and personality development.
As part of the programme, an NSS Orientation Class will be led by Dr. Sujith K. V., Director of Student Services at Kannur University. His session is expected to provide volunteers with deeper insight into the values and responsibilities of NSS participation.
WIRAS, an institution accredited with a NAAC B++ grade, is hosting the event with support from Kannur University and the National Service Scheme. Organizers highlighted that the camp is designed to offer Future, Opportunity, Confidence, Unity, and Success—the core themes reflected in the Focus Plus initiative.
The event underscores Kannur University’s continued commitment to nurturing socially responsible and service-minded youth leaders.
