To commemorate World Statistics Day, the Department of Mathematics organized a Brochure Making Competition for Plus One and Plus Two Commerce students on the topic "Famous Statisticians." The competition aimed to introduce students to the contributions of renowned statisticians such as P.C. Mahalanobis, Karl Pearson, and Florence Nightingale. Participants designed creative brochures featuring biographical details, key contributions, and the impact of these figures on the field of statistics. Entries were judged based on content accuracy, creativity, presentation, and research depth. selected brochures were displayed on the school notice board. The event was both educational and engaging, successfully highlighting the importance of statistics in various fields.
