Progressive English School celebrated Environment Day on 5 June 2025 under the Science department with a range of vibrant activities across all sections. Highlights included a drawing competition, Seed Collection Activity, poster making on the theme “Save the Earth – Say No to Plastics,” and the "Whispers of Nature Tree", where students shared eco-friendly messages on paper leaves. Money plants were also planted and displayed at a dedicated window corner.
The day also marked the inauguration of the Science Club. Hifzu Zainab , Grade IX A, Club Secretary welcomed the gathering, followed by a Presidential address by Ms. Supriya Krishnan, Vice Principal. The club was formally inaugurated by Mr. Rajan K. V., Retired Principal, GHSS Kaniyanchal, and concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Keerthana, Club Incharge. The event successfully promoted environmental awareness and scientific spirit among students.
The chief guest Mr.Rajan.k.V and Mr.Muhammed Sajid P.K., Director , Progressive English School planted saplings in the campus.
