Wadihuda Higher Secondary School celebrated World Environment Day, promoting eco-awareness through the Nature Club's initiatives. Poster-making competition and awareness class educated students on key environmental issues, conservation, and sustainability. Students created thought-provoking posters, inspiring eco-friendly practices. The event instilled a sense of responsibility, encouraging students to contribute to a greener future and fostering a deeper appreciation for environmental protection.
As part of World Environment Day celebrations, the NSS volunteers of Wadi Huda Higher Secondary School observed Kalpakam 25. The program was inaugurated by planting a coconut sapling, which was done by Mrs. Mani Pavithran, the member of the 6th ward of Madayi Panchayat. Environmental activist and Ujwal Award winner E. Swaliha raised awareness about environmental conservation. Following this, an environmental awareness rally was conducted to Madayippara. During the event, History teacher Mr. Junaid explained the historical significance of Madayippara. NSS and JRC volunteers took the Environment Day pledge. The event also featured speeches by Head Teacher Mr. Suhaib S.V.P., Program Officer Anita P.P., Physical Education Teacher Mr. Antony, and History Teacher Nivedya.
