The Academic Excellence Award Ceremony, ‘Progressive Feat - 2025’, was held with great enthusiasm on 10 June 2025. The event began with a welcome address by Mr. Suhail Fareed, Principal, Progressive English School, and was formally inaugurated by Mr. Hamza Abbas, Chairman, Wadihuda Group of Institutions (WGI).
Ms. Ehteda Mufassir IAS, Assistant Collector, Kannur, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. She felicitated the School and Subject Toppers of Classes X and XII, delivered an inspiring message encouraging students to strive for excellence with strong values, and also interacted with the students by answering their thoughtful queries. A memento was presented to her by the Chairman as a token of appreciation.
The ceremony was honoured by the presence of Mr. SAP Abdussalam, Managing Director, WGI, Mr.Muhammed Sajid .PK, Director,Progressive English School, Mr. Farook Usman, General Secretary, WGI, Mr. Muhammed Kunhi,Treasurer, WGI, Mr. Abdul Kalam Azad, Management committee member,Progressive English school, Ms. Suchithra. R, Deputy Director, Academics, WGI, Mr. Sabir. V K, Vice Principal, Ms. Haseena V.K, Vice President, PTA.
Reflections and feedback were shared by the awardees Samra Abdul Rasheed and Fathimathul Farhana, adding a heartfelt touch to the event. From the parent side, Ms. Humaida Abdulla, sister of Aleema Abdulla, also shared her reflections, making the occasion even more memorable.The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Supriya Krishnan, Vice Principal, Progressive English School.
