Wadihuda Higher Secondary School and Progressive English School collaborated to host a two-day Chess Training Camp on July 3rd and 4th, 2025. Led by renowned national chess player and trainer, Mr. Ajeesh Antony, the camp focused on strategic thinking, game techniques, and advanced moves. Students from both schools participated, gaining valuable insights and enhancing their skills. The camp was inaugurated by Ms. Supriya Krishnan, Vice Principal, Progressive English School. The camp concluded with a motivational session by Mr. Shuhaib, SVP Head Teacher, Wadihuda Higher Secondary School, inspiring students to continue exploring their passion for chess. The camp promoted critical thinking and intellectual development, providing a great opportunity for chess enthusiasts to learn from an experienced professional.
