On 5 July 2025, the Islamic Department of Progressive English School organized a Muharram talk to commemorate the significance of the Islamic month. Fathimathul Faiha. N of Class VII B delivered an insightful speech titled "ആശൂറാ, ആത്മപരിശുദ്ധിയുടെ ദിനം", emphasizing the importance of Ashura and the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (R.A).
