To honor the legacy of literary giant Munshi Prem Chand, Wadihuda Higher Secondary School observed Prem Chand Jayanti on 31 July 2025 (Thursday) by organizing Poem Writing and Story Writing Competitions for High School students. The event aimed to ignite creativity and instill a love for literature among students. Guided by the values embodied in Prem Chand’s writings—social awareness, empathy, and simplicity—participants expressed their thoughts through powerful narratives and evocative poetry. The celebration served as a meaningful tribute to one of India’s greatest storytellers and encouraged budding writers to carry his legacy forward.
