The Hindi Department of Progressive English School commemorated Premchand Jayanti on 31 July with engaging competitions designed to honor the legacy of the great Hindi literary figure, Munshi Premchand. The event featured a Quiz Competition for Grade VII students and a Story Writing Competition for Grade VIII, encouraging young learners to explore Hindi literature and storytelling.
The activities aimed to cultivate an appreciation for language, creativity, and cultural heritage while enhancing students’ literary expression and comprehension. It was a thoughtful tribute to one of India’s most celebrated writers.
