The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit No. 65 of Wadihuda Higher Secondary School solemnly observed Hiroshima and Nagasaki Day on the 6th and 9th of August. The commemoration aimed to remember the tragic events of 1945 and to spread awareness about the devastating consequences of war and the importance of peace.
As part of the observance, students actively took part in meaningful activities such as the Youth Pledge Rally, Youth Pledge Recitation, and a documentary screening followed by a historical reflection session. These events were designed to promote values of peace, global citizenship, and compassion among the younger generation. The initiative not only honored the memories of those who suffered but also encouraged students to take a stand for a more peaceful and just world.
