The Social Science Club of Wadihuda Higher Secondary School organized a series of events in the second week of August as part of Independence Day celebrations. The aim was to inspire patriotism and provide opportunities for students to express their ideas about the nation's journey and values. The events included Short Talks, where students spoke on India's freedom struggle, great leaders, and citizen responsibilities. Speech Competitions allowed participants to explore historical events, contemporary challenges, and visions for the country's future. Artistic talents were showcased through Poster Making, with themes like "Freedom Fighters of India" and "Unity in Diversity," and Bulletin Board Making, which featured timelines, photographs, and inspiring quotes. A special Video Presentation was also prepared, combining historical footage, student narrations, and patriotic music to depict India's struggle for independence and progress since 1947.
