The NSS Unit 48 of WIRAS, in association with RED FM Kannur, organized an awareness programme on “First Aid, Life Saving Moments” as part of RED FM’s Superhero campaign, which celebrates individuals who have saved lives through timely interventions during emergencies.
The informative session was led by Dr. Arul Murugan from AKG Cooperative Hospital, Kannur, and Ms. Saranya, Lecturer in Nursing at AKG College of Nursing, who highlighted essential emergency response techniques, including immediate actions to be taken in cases such as snake bites.
The programme was inaugurated by Mr. Salmanul Farizi, Chief Administrator, and presided over by Mr. Rajeesh V V, NSS Programme Officer. RJ Jithu from Red FM interacted with the volunteers, adding vibrancy to the event. Ms. Ajna Parveen extended a warm welcome to the gathering.
As a token of support, the RED FM team presented a First Aid Box to the NSS Unit.
The NSS family expressed sincere gratitude to all who contributed to making the programme a grand success.
