Imagination soared beyond the stars as Wadi Huda Higher Secondary School celebrated National Space Day with a Science Fiction Short Story Writing Competition, encouraging students to explore the wonders of space through creative storytelling.
In the High School (HS) category, Zehara V V of Class IX B clinched First Place for her captivating sci-fi narrative. Muhammed Jazib Jafar, also from IX B, secured Second Place, impressing the judges with his futuristic vision.
The Higher Secondary School (HSS) category saw Yasmin Shabeer T P from XI Commerce win First Place, while Muhammed Mazin Najmuddeen of XII Commerce earned Second Place. Diyana Bathool from XI Humanities rounded off the winners’ list with a well-deserved Third Place.
The event not only celebrated National Space Day but also inspired young writers to dream big, think critically, and creatively explore possibilities beyond Earth. It was a proud moment for the school as students demonstrated their literary skills combined with scientific imagination.
