Wadihuda Higher Secondary School commemorated Basheer Anusmarana Dinam by organizing a series of creative and intellectual competitions to honor the legacy of the celebrated Malayalam writer Vaikom Muhammad Basheer. The event included a Poster Making competition for High School students, where Haifa Ashraf of class X A secured first place and Fasla Fathima of class IX B won second place. The day also featured Quiz competitions for both High School and Higher Secondary School students. In the High School category, Rishan Abdul Rasheed (VIII B) took first place, followed by Fahmi Faisal (VIII B) in second. For the Higher Secondary School category, Hiba Moidu of XII Humanities emerged as the winner. These competitions provided an opportunity for students to engage with Basheer’s literary contributions and celebrate his enduring influence on Malayalam literature. The school community came together to mark the occasion with creativity and enthusiasm, reflecting the humanistic spirit that Basheer championed throughout his life.
