Progressive English School organized ഓണം –മിലാദ് സൗഹൃദ സംഗമം on 16th September 2025 in the Wadi Huda Auditorium for the staff. The program celebrated cultural harmony and strengthened the spirit of unity among the community. The chief guest, Mr. G.K. Edathanaattukara, Secretary, Dialogue Centre, Kerala, in his keynote address, emphasized the significance of unity and brotherhood. He reminded the audience that humanity must strive to stand together with goodness and compassion, guided by the realization that we are all creations of one Creator. His inspiring words encouraged the gathering to embrace harmony, respect, and peaceful coexistence. The event began with a warm welcome speech by Mr. Sabir V.K., Vice Principal followed by the presidential address of Mr. Muhammed Sajid P.K., Director, Progressive English School. The function was officially inaugurated by Mr. S.A.P. Abdussalam, Managing Director, WGI,after which Mr. Farook Usman, General Secretary, WGI, delivered a meaningful speech. Mr. Sajith Kumar, Principal, WHSS, offered felicitations, while Mr. Shuhaib S.V.P., Vice Principal ,WHSS ,proposed the vote of thanks. The program also featured thought-sharing sessions by Mr. Pavithran R.C., Ms. Nisha K.V., and Mr. Babu T , Teachers, Progressive . The presence of Mr. Musthafa Ibrahim. Secretary, WGI, Ms. Sujithra R., Deputy director, Academics, WGI and Mr.Suhail Fareed ,Principal ,Progressive added grace to the event. Ms. Anagha, Teacher , Progressive added charm to the gathering with her soulful song. The gathering concluded with a strong message of peace, brotherhood, and communal harmony, truly reflecting the spirit of Onam and Milad celebrations. get headline for the news
