On 17 September 2025, in connection with First Aid Day, the Malarvadi Teen India Club of Progressive English School organized an IRW First Aid Class for grade XI & XII. The program commenced with a prayer by Khalid Mishaal followed by a welcome address delivered by Fathima Bathool of Grade XI.
The session was formally inaugurated by Mr. Suhail Fareed, Principal. In his address, he emphasized the importance of first aid knowledge, appreciated the services of IRW, and urged students to acquire life-saving skills.
The core session was handled by Ms. Fareeda Majeed, IRW Resource Person, who introduced the basics of first aid and demonstrated practical techniques to deal with emergencies. Ms. Supriya Krishnan , Vice Principal also shared a short message and presented a memento to the guest. Mr. Sabir V.K., Vice Princip also graced the occasion with his presence.
Students took part enthusiastically and benefitted greatly from the training. The program came to a close with a vote of thanks proposed by Aleema of Grade XI, who acknowledged the efforts of the school management, the guest resource person, and the organizers.
Overall, the First Aid Class proved to be an informative and impactful initiative, equipping students with vital life-saving knowledge and skills.
