As part of ENVIRAS 2025, the NSS Unit 48 of WIRAS, in association with Sankara Vilasam AUP School, Mundoor, successfully organized the "Teach for a Day" Rural School Volunteering Program on 19 September 2025. The initiative aimed to provide students with meaningful learning experiences while fostering a spirit of service among volunteers.
The program was inaugurated by Mrs. Sathi Savithri, Headmistress of Sankara Vilasam AUP School, who appreciated the efforts of the volunteers in enriching the educational journey of the students. Throughout the day, NSS volunteers engaged actively with the schoolchildren, conducting interactive sessions and sharing knowledge in a lively and inspiring manner.
The event concluded with heartfelt thanks to all the volunteers whose dedication made the mission a success. The program not only strengthened the bond between institutions but also highlighted the importance of collaborative efforts in shaping the future of rural education.
