The Malarvadi Teen India Club of Progressive English School organized a First Aid Awareness Session on September 17, 2025, in observance of First Aid Day for Grades XI and XII. The program aimed to equip students with essential knowledge and practical skills to handle medical emergencies.
The session began with a prayer by Khalid Mishaal of Grade XI, followed by a welcome address by Fathima Bathool. Principal Mr. Suhail Fareed inaugurated the event, appreciating the support of Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW). Ms. Fareeda Majeed, IRW Resource Person, led the session with live demonstrations on CPR, handling burns, cuts, and choking incidents. Students actively participated, gaining confidence and awareness.
Vice Principals Ms. Supriya Krishnan and Mr. Sabir V.K. also addressed the gathering, and a memento was presented to the guest. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Aleema of Grade XI. The session proved highly informative, fostering responsibility and readiness among students to offer timely help in emergencies.
