The NSS Camp on 27th December 2025 was conducted successfully to promote digital literacy, disaster preparedness, health awareness, and environmental protection.
As part of the digital literacy programme, NSS volunteers visited nearby houses to promote digital literacy among residents, especially the aged people, teaching basic mobile use, messaging, essential applications, and online safety to help them gain confidence with technology.
A disaster management session led by Sri. Satheesh Kasturi, Health Inspector, PHC Punnachery, included first aid training and safety measures.
As part of the “Karuthal Kavacham” programme, the Fire and Rescue Department conducted a fire and safety awareness session led by Officers Shaymas and Jibin. The officers demonstrated fire safety techniques, emergency response methods, and rescue procedures, helping students understand the importance of fire safety and preparedness.
As part of environmental awareness, NSS volunteers undertook a journey through the surrounding areas to convey the message of environmental protection, cleanliness, and conservation.
In the evening, NSS volunteers presented various cultural programmes, which created a joyful atmosphere and strengthened the bond between students.
The second day of the NSS Camp concluded successfully, with all activities carried out smoothly and effectively achieving their objectives.
