Wadihuda Institute of Research and Advanced Studies (WIRAS) secured a commanding win in the Quarter Final of the Kannur University Inter-Collegiate C-Zone Cricket Championship, defeating E. K. Nayanar Memorial Government College, Elerithattu by 82 runs. Batting first, WIRAS posted an impressive 170/1 in 12 overs, with Afreed scoring a brilliant 70 off 34 balls and Thushar B.K. adding 48 off 23. In reply, E. K. Nayanar Memorial Government College was restricted to 88/5, with Devan top-scoring with 24. The emphatic victory highlighted WIRAS’s strong all-round performance and competitive spirit in the championship.
