On 26th January 2026, Little Buds Kindergarten, successfully inaugurated a Swimming Coaching Program for Foundational Stage cluster1 students, aiming to promote physical fitness, water safety awareness, and confidence.
The event began with a welcome speech by Mrs. Deepa Prabhu, Head Teacher, followed by the Presidential Address of Mr. Suhail Fareed, Principal, PES, emphasizing sports in early childhood development. The Official Inaugural Address was delivered by Mr. Muhammed Sajid,.PK Director, Progressive English School, highlighting swimming’s role in discipline and well-being.
The swimming pool was inaugurated by Chief Guests Ms. E. Swaliha, International Kayaking Champion, Progressive alumna and Ms. C.V. Janaki, Swimming Coach, who inspired participants with insights on sportsmanship and life skills. Certificates were awarded to the former swimming batch students on successful completion of their coaching.
The program concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Mr. Sabir V.K, Vice Principal, expressing gratitude to all involved, making the event a memorable experience fostering student confidence, fitness, and joy in learning.The occasion was graced by the presence of Ms. Supriya Krishnan, Vice Principal.
