Stay Blessed - Grade XII Farewell Programme was organized on 13 February 2026 with deep emotions and heartfelt blessings for the outgoing 2025–26 batch.
The programme commenced with a prayer by the School Choir, invoking divine blessings for the students as they step into a new chapter of life. Ms. Smitha K, Class Teacher, delivered the Welcome Address and warmly received the dignitaries and gathering.
The Introductory Remarks were delivered by Mr.Suhail Fareed, Principal, who reflected on the remarkable journey of the students and appreciated their growth, discipline, and achievements over the years.
The formal inauguration and distribution of certificates (marking 14 years of completion) were carried out by Mr.Hamza Abbas, Chairman, WGI and Chief Editor of Gulf Madhyamam. In his inspiring address, he encouraged the students to pursue their aspirations with confidence, integrity, and perseverance.
Mr. S.A.P. Abdussalam, Managing Director, WGI, shared his heartfelt reflections on the journey of the students, expressing immense pride in their transformation from young learners to confident individuals. He encouraged them to carry the institution’s legacy of discipline and dedication wherever they go. Showering his blessings upon the outgoing batch, he participated in the certificate distribution, conveying his sincere wishes for their continued success and happiness.
The Keynote Address was delivered by Mr. Muhammed Sajid PK, Director, who motivated the students to uphold the values instilled by the institution and face future challenges with courage and determination.
The Certificates were distributed and Felicitations were offered by Mr.Musthafa Ibrahim, Secretary, WGI, Ms. Suchitra R, Deputy Director of Academics, WGI and Ms. Haseena V K, PTA President.
The sharing sessions by the students added an emotional and memorable touch to the programme. Riza Rasheed, Shahdan Yousuf Yahiya, and Naja K P , XII shared their heartfelt experiences, expressing sincere gratitude to their teachers, parents, and the management for their constant guidance and support. Adding warmth to the occasion, Mr. Badarudheen, PTA Executive Member and parent of Neha Badarudheen, along with Ms. Shahida, parent of Muhammed Zayan, expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the school, commending the institution for fostering strong values and academic excellence among its students.
The programme concluded with the Pledge led by the Principal, followed by the Vote of Thanks proposed by Ms. Beefathu, Head Teacher – Secondary.
The farewell was filled with pride, gratitude, and cherished memories. It was not merely a goodbye, but a celebration of a beautiful journey. With hopeful hearts and countless blessings, the school bid farewell to the outgoing batch saying, “Hasta la vista” — until we meet again.
