The Career Guidance Cell of Progressive English School organized an Orientation Programme for Class X students on 29 June 2026.
The programme began with a Welcome Address by Ms. Sheena P. P, Coordinator of the Alumni Association. The session was chaired by Ms. Supriya Krishnan, Vice Principal, who delivered the Presidential Address.
Mr. Shaheen P. T. , Marine Engineer at Blue Gulf Shipyard and an alumnus of the school, was the resource person for the session. He spoke on the topic, “10th Standard Is Not the End – It Is the beginning of a New Journey”, and provided students with a clear understanding of higher education opportunities and career options after Class X.
The session was highly interactive. Students participated actively by asking questions, making the discussion meaningful, informative, and engaging.
The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Ms. Beefathu, HT, Secondary section.
