Report on Inter-Group Seminar Competition
On 10 September 2026, Lyceum – Centre for Humanities organized an Inter-Group Seminar Competition at the Conference Hall of Wadihuda Higher Secondary School. The programme was based on the theme “Learn, Present, Compete, Excel” and aimed to develop students’ knowledge, critical thinking and presentation skills.
The programme began with a welcome speech by Ain Al Saba, followed by the Presidential Address by Sajith Sir, who encouraged students to think critically and communicate their ideas confidently.
The programme also included the distribution of two special awards. Ain Al Saba received the Star of the Month Award for her active participation and contributions. Diyana Siraj received the Lyceum Competitive Exam Topper Award for her excellent performance in the examination.
The main event was the seminar competition, in which four teams presented their ideas on different contemporary topics. Team Thinkers presented on the opportunities and ethical challenges of Artificial Intelligence. Team Transformers discussed whether social media is a boon or a bane. Team Scholars focused on the impact of competitive entrance examinations on students’ mental health. Team Visionaries presented on the role of youth in nation-building.
The presentations were evaluated by Mr. Shuhaib S.V.P., Vice Principal, and Mr. Abdul Hadi, HSST Psychology. The judges assessed the teams based on their content, presentation, clarity, confidence and overall performance.
The seminar was an enriching experience that encouraged students to learn, express their ideas and compete with confidence.
