The Music Day celebration at Progressive English School was held on 21 June 2025, under the vibrant coordination of the Music Department. The event began with a warm welcome address by Manha Fairooz of Class IX, followed by an insightful speech on the significance of Music Day by Muhammed Musthafa, also from Class IX.
The celebration featured energetic group songs and a soulful solo performance by Aisha Daniya, showcasing the diverse musical talents of Class IX students. Enthusiastic participation in the group song and karaoke sessions was seen from Ridan Muhammed, Aman Farooq, Muhammed Rashan, Amar Anees, Manha Fairooz, Hina Mehreen, and Isa Mariyam.
As part of the celebration, foundational stage students enjoyed a fun and engaging session where short clips of traditional music from different states were played, followed by a lively freeze dance activity, introducing them to India’s rich musical heritage through movement and joy.
The event was a delightful celebration of music, rhythm, and student creativity, leaving the audience truly inspired.
