Wadihuda Higher Secondary School hosted a grand honouring ceremony "Jewels" to recognize the outstanding achievements of the top-performing students on June 21, 2025. The event was a testament to the school's commitment to excellence and dedication to nurturing talented young minds.
The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome address by Principal Mr. Sajith Kumar P K, setting the tone for the celebration. Mr. Farook Usman, General Secretary of WGI, delivered a thought-provoking presidential address, highlighting the importance of perseverance and hard work. The inauguration ceremony was graced by Mr. Abdul Salam S A P, Managing Director of WGI, who emphasized the significance of recognizing and rewarding talent.
The highlight of the evening was the award distribution and message session led by esteemed guest Mr. V P Balagangadharan, a retired ISRO scientist and author. His insights and words of wisdom served as a guiding light for the young achievers. The keynote address by Mr. Muhammed Sajid P K, Director of Progressive English School, added depth and perspective to the event. Mr. Anujith A P, a NEET Kerala 9th rank holder, shared an inspiring message, motivating the students to strive for excellence.
This was followed by the prize distribution ceremony, where the "Jewels" of the school were awarded for their outstanding achievements. The event was honoured by the esteemed presence of guests Mr. Alikkutty (Trust Member WGI), Mr. Moosa Master (Trust Member WGI), Shuhaib SVP(Head Teacher), parents and the mentors.
The event was blessed with the heartfelt felicitations by Mr. Musthafa Ibrahim (Secretary, Ta'aleemul Islam Trust) and Mr. Muhammed Kunhi (Treasurer, WGI).
As the convocation ceremony began, Principal Mr. Sajith Kumar P K led the gathering in the Convocation Pledge, emphasizing the students' commitment to their future endeavors.
The vote of thanks was delivered by Staff Secretary Mr. Fasal K P, expressing gratitude to all involved in making the event a success. A memento presentation to the chief guest and special guest was made by Mr. Abdul Salam S A P (Managing Director WGI).
