The PTA General Meeting for the Foundational Stage was held on 1 July 2025 at Progressive English School. The meeting commenced with a soulful prayer by the school choir, followed by a warm welcome address by Mr. Sabir VK, Vice Principal.
Mr. Shihabudheen, PTA President, delivered the Presidential Address, emphasizing the importance of collaborative efforts between parents and educators. The Inaugural Address was presented by Mr. Farook Usman, General Secretary, WGI, highlighting the institution’s vision for holistic development.
An inspiring message was then delivered by Mr. Suhail Fareed, Principal, who emphasized how understanding concepts deeply rather than rote learning helps build strong academic foundations and encourages lifelong learning. Following this Mr. Mohammed Sajid P.K, Director, Progressive English School, delivered the keynote address, sharing the school’s mission to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners.
A token of appreciation was presented to parent storytellers in recognition of their valuable contributions.
An insightful orientation on Cyber Square was led by Mr. Rifadh Abdul Razack, Lead Software Trainer. General instructions to parents were shared by Ms. Mahjabeen A.C,Head Teacher,Foundational Stage- Cluster 2
The meeting also included an interactive session with parents and the election of the new PTA executive council. A detailed Parent Orientation session was conducted by Ms. Subaida UV, Consultant Psychologist and WINGS Vice President,KMEB, Kannur region, offering valuable parenting guidance.
The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Supriya Krishnan, Vice Principal, expressing heartfelt gratitude to all dignitaries, parents, and attendees for their active participation.
