Students of Wadihuda Higher Secondary School showcased remarkable strength and determination at the Madayi Sub-District Powerlifting and Weightlifting Championship 2025.
Zahid Mahamood O of XI Commerce secured the Gold Medal in the Senior Boys 66kg category and qualified for the Kannur District-level Powerlifting Championship. Ahammed Abdunnassir (XI Science) and Muhammed Aman Faizal P (XI Commerce) won Bronze Medals in the 74kg and 59kg categories respectively.
In the girls’ category, Fathimath Rifa of XII Science qualified for the district-level championship in the 63kg category. Abdul Hadhi of IX B also qualified for the Kannur District-level Weightlifting Championship in the Junior Boys 98kg category.
The school community congratulated the achievers for their outstanding performance and for bringing pride to Wadihuda Higher Secondary School.
