National Postal Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Progressive English School on 13th October 2025. The event was inaugurated by Mr.Suhail Fareed, Principal, who bought the first postcard from the school’s post office. A model post office was set up with a post box, postmaster, clerks, postmen, and postwomen, all dressed in traditional postal attire.
Students from Classes 1 to 12 actively participated by buying postcards, writing letters to their teachers and friends, and posting them. The sorting and delivery of letters were carried out by the student postal team, offering a hands-on experience of postal services. The program revived the joy of letter writing and provided a wonderful experiential learning opportunity for all.
