The Bharat Scouts & Guides Inauguration was held at Progressive English School on 5th February 2026.
The programme commenced with a prayer by the Bul Bul Team, setting a meaningful beginning.
The event was formally welcomed by Khadeejathul Kubra , III D, followed by the Presidential Address by Mr. Suhail Fareed, Principal, who emphasized the values of discipline, service, and leadership in shaping young minds.
The Inaugural Address was delivered by Mr. P. Ramesan HWB (S), District Secretary, Bharat Scouts & Guides, Thaliparamba, who elaborated on the ideals and objectives of the Scouts & Guides movement. The Guest Speaker, Mr. Harinarayanan P. K., Leader Trainer – Cubs Kerala, encouraged students to actively engage in scouting activities.
Mr. Muhammed Sajid P.K., Director, Progressive English School,felicitated the event and conveyed his sincere appreciation to the initiative and conveyed his warm wishes for the successful beginning of this new venture. The guests were honoured with mementoes as a token of love and gratitude.
The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Zainab Riyas of 4E. Mr. Sabir V.K., Vice Principal, and Ms. Sathyabhama, Flock Leader, graced the occasion with their esteemed presence.
