The 1st Edition of Progressive Digital Fest was successfully organized on 17 February 2026. The event was formally inaugurated by Mr.SAP Abdul Salam, Managing Director, WGI, marking an important milestone in the school’s journey toward advancing digital learning and innovation.
The fest showcased a well-structured Tech Exhibition, featuring dedicated corners for Animation, Web Development, Game Design, and Robotics.
The Robotics and IoT segment emerged as a key highlight, where students presented innovative IoT-based models and robotic solutions. Their projects reflected impressive technical knowledge, creativity, and practical problem-solving abilities.
A thought-provoking Tech Talk was also conducted, offering students valuable insights into emerging technologies and future career opportunities in the digital world. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, with all students visiting the exhibition, making it a truly inclusive and enriching experience.
The occasion was further graced by the esteemed presence of distinguished dignitaries, Mr. Muhammed Sajid PK, Director of Progressive English School, Mr. Farook Usman, General secretary, WGI, Mr.Musthafa Ibrahim, Secretary, WGI, Mr.Er.Muhammed Riyas TK, Director,WIRAS, Mr.Ali Kutty, Director, Ibn Haytham Academy and Mr. Sidhiq SLP, Director, Wadisalam Campus.
Their encouraging words and appreciation greatly inspired the students and enhanced the significance of the event.
Overall, the Digital Fest successfully fostered curiosity and passion for technology, motivating students to explore, innovate, and extend their learning beyond the classroom.
