A CBSE Capacity Building Programme on Promoting Mental Health and Wellness Among Students was organized on 28 March 2026. The programme focused on creating awareness and strengthening teachers’ capacity to address students’ mental health needs.
The programme commenced with a welcome address by Mr. Suhail Fareed, Principal, who also introduced the resource persons. In his address, he emphasized the growing importance of mental health awareness in educational institutions.
The sessions were led by Fr. Lijo Paul CMI,Principal, Good Shepherd CMI School. Kunnamkulam and Mr. Jayan Kambrath, Principal, MH English School, Edappal who provided valuable insights into student well-being, emotional support strategies, and the role of educators in fostering a healthy learning environment.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Supriya Krishnan, Vice Principal, who acknowledged the contributions of the speakers.
The programme was informative and enriched the participants with practical knowledge and strategies.
