The Progressive Staff Farewell Programme, Adieu, was held on 3rd April 2026 in a warm and dignified atmosphere.
The event began with a welcome address by Ms. Smitha K., Staff Secretary, followed by the presidential address by Mr. Suhail Fareed, Principal. The programme was inaugurated by Mr. SAP Abdul Salam, Managing Director, WGI.
Mr. Mohammed Sajid PK, Director, Progressive English School delivered the Director’s message, appreciating the dedication of the retiring and resigning staff members. Felicitations were offered by Mr. Farooq Usman, General Secretary, WGI and Ms. Sujithra.R, Deputy Director (Academics),WGI.
Retiring teachers were honoured with mementos by Mr. SAP Abdul Salam, Managing Director, and Mr. Farooq Usman, General Secretary. The retiring staff shared their heartfelt experiences and memories.
Resigning teachers were also honoured by Mr. Mohammed Sajid PK, Director, in recognition of their service.
Felicitations were further extended by Ms. Ajitha.P ,HT ,Preparatory Stage, Ms. Beefathu, HT , Secondary Stage and Ms. Mahjabeen.AC, HT, FSC2.
The programme also featured prize distribution for WRC Competitions and Ramadan activities, adding to the celebratory spirit.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Supriya Krishnan, Vice Principal.
