In observance of World MSME Day 2026, the Commerce Association, in collaboration with the ED Club, WIRAS, organized an MSME Unit Visit on Monday, 29 June 2026. The visit was conducted at Janatha Charitable Society, Vellur. The programme aimed to provide students with practical exposure to the functioning of an MSME. Students of III Semester B.Com. Computer Application and B.Com. Cooperation participated in the visit. The faculty members of the PG Department of Commerce, Mr. Rahanas T., Ms. Della Samual, and Ms. Rajasree, accompanied and guided the students throughout the visit. The officials of the organization warmly welcomed the participants. They explained the history, objectives, and various activities of the institution. Students were introduced to the different units and operational processes of the organization. They also learned about the management practices and day-to-day functioning of the MSME. Overall, the MSME Unit Visit proved to be an informative and enriching learning experience for all the participants.
