An Anti-Ragging Awareness Session was organized under the Souhrida Club and Jagratha Samithi at Wadihuda Higher Secondary School on 2 July 2026 (Thursday) at 10:00 AM in the Wadihuda Auditorium, in collaboration with the Janamaithri Police, Pazhayangadi Police Station.
The programme was inaugurated by Mr. Sajith Kumar P. K., Principal, Wadihuda Higher Secondary School, who highlighted the importance of maintaining a safe, respectful, and ragging-free campus. He encouraged students to uphold discipline, mutual respect, and positive relationships within the school community.
The awareness class was handled by Mr. Prajeesh S. K., Assistant Sub Inspector of Police, Pariyaram Medical College Police Station. He explained the ill effects of ragging, the legal provisions against it, and the need to create a friendly and secure learning environment. He also urged students to report any incidents of ragging without fear.
The session was highly informative and interactive. It created awareness among students about their rights and responsibilities and reinforced the school's commitment to ensuring a ragging-free campus.
