Premchand Jayanti was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Wadihuda Higher Secondary School on July 31, 2026, under the auspices of the Hindi Club. The event aimed to honor the legendary Hindi literary icon, Munshi Premchand, and to foster a deeper interest in Hindi language and literature among students.
The programs were successfully organized under the leadership of Hindi Club Coordinator,Ms.Rashmi Krishnan.
A special screening of short films based on Munshi Premchand's famous short stories was held, offering students an engaging visual experience of his literary works.
A lively quiz competition was conducted to test the students' knowledge of Premchand’s life, major works, and Hindi literature.
Students displayed their creative talents in an art competition, bringing characters and themes from Premchand’s stories to life through their illustrations.
Teachers shared insightful thoughts on Munshi Premchand's contributions to Indian literature, and the active participation of the students made the event a resounding success.
